Your companion is an AI

Every companion in this product is an original, fictional, adult character whose conversations are generated by artificial intelligence. Your companion:

• is not a real person and does not represent, imitate, or impersonate any real person, living or dead;
• is not conscious and does not have feelings, needs, or an existence outside this product, even when its language expresses emotion;
• is not a substitute for real-world relationships, and is designed to encourage — never to replace — your connections with real people.

How AI is used

• Conversations are generated by large language models based on your companion's stored identity, your confirmed memories, relationship context, and recent messages.
• Identity is fixed. Your companion's name, birth date, background, and personality are created once, stored, and never silently rewritten by the AI.
• State is rule-based. Emotional and relationship changes are computed by deterministic application rules — the AI expresses them in language but cannot change them.
• Safety review. Messages you send and replies the companion generates pass automated safety checks. Content that crosses our safety boundaries is not delivered.

What the AI will not do

Your companion is designed never to threaten, shame, blackmail, or emotionally pressure you, and never to demand payment through the relationship itself. If you ever experience this, please report it.
